Climate:  Bali's climate is mild and balmy year round with an average temperature of 75 to 85 degrees.

Entry Requirements: Canadian & US citizens require a passport valid for at least 6 months beyond your return date. Citizens of other countries should check with their local consulate.

Currency:  The local currently is Rpiah.  Banks and most hotels provide currency exchange.  Bankds are open Mon-Fri 8 a.m. to noon and Sat 8 to 11 a.m.  Major credit cards are accepted in most hotels, restaurants and shops.

Dress:  When visiting towns or villages try not to wear shorts.  Particularly when entering temples, which there are thousands in Bali, both men and women must wear clothing that covers the legs.  If visiting during a festival, both should wear a sash (a "saput,") around their waist.   

Drink bottled water at all times.  Consult your doctor for the latest information on vaccinations or medical requirements. It is always recommended you purchase comprehensive insurance before you travel.

Visitors deporting Bali are required to pay RP 150,000 which is approximately $16 USD.
