One of the best known structures in all of the world, Agra's fabled Taj Majal will awe your senses and forever capture your heart.  Considered to be the finest example of Mughal architecture, the Taj Majal is a glistening mass of white marble and semi-precious stones set amid impeccably landscaped grounds.  Visit the cities of Agra and old Goa in which you'll learn of the fascinating history and marvel at the architectural masterpieces that are so artfully preserved, such as the Agra Fort, the UNESCO World Heritage Site credited to Emperor Akbar, India's great visionary.  You can also visit the Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daulah, the first Mughal structure totally built from marble and which pioneered the extensive use of "pietra dura," a marble inlay characteristic of the Taj Mahal.
