Not many festivals are more beautiful than the Sky Lantern Festival that takes places in PingShi, It marks the end to the Chinese New Year. Each year up to 200,000 lanterns light up PingShiâ??s sky during this festival. Visitors can buy a lantern and write whatever they want on it before they release it. Sky lantern launches start at 6:30 p.m. and go until 9:30 p.m. The Sky Lantern Festival started on February 7 and will be ending on February 23.
