Day 1 - Day 1 - Welcome to VaranasiUpon arrival, you’ll be warmly greeted and escorted by private car to your choice of hotel. In the afternoon, your private car sightseeing tour brings you to Sarnath where Buddha gave his first sermon – revealing his doctrine and founding his first monastic community. Continue with your private guide and visit the Sarnath Museum, home to an outstanding collection of Indian sculpture and carvings from the 3rd century BC to the 12th century AD. Return to your hotel for a free evening.
Day 2 - Day 2 - At Dawn on the GangesYour private car, driver and guide await early this morning to take you on one of the most powerful travel experiences you will ever have. As you enjoy a sunrise boat excursion on the sacred Ganges River, you’ll observe thousands of devout Hindus descending to riverbanks for purification in these holy waters. Return to your hotel for breakfast and then continue your privately guided morning city tour. See Benaras Hindu University and visit the Bharat Mata (Mother India) Temple. Meals B
