Myanmar: A Road Less Traveled...This is Burma and it is unlike any other land. This is a place uniquely preserved in culture and landscape. Natural riches abound, breathtaking in beauty and untouched by modern day. Temples soar, spires towering over pagodas carved with history. Traditions thrive, encased in silver and gold, sculpted in marble and painted on parasols.

Indochina:Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos...cruise magnificent Ha long Bay by junk and glide on a sampan in the Mekong Delta to charming river villages; wander the Angkor temples of Khmer; explore layered urban histories from ancient Hoi An to French Hanoi to modern Ho Chi Minh City with underground tunnels; meet artisans of silk and rice paper, water puppets and Laotians; try your hand at rice farming; travel by tuk-tuk, buggy and cyclo; admire the golden Buddhas. Experience an elephant trek through a teak forest.

Visit the imperial Forbidden Purple City of Hue.Linger on the waterways of Bangkok and in the lush hills of Chiang Mai. This is Indochina.

China and the Yangtze:...Great walls that weave ancient empires into modern day wonders; palatial monuments with forbidden treasures in Beijing, Xian warriors standing in stony silence for thousands of years, a river transforming the course of history; Shanghai acrobats, dim sum and Victoria Peak in Hong Kong. Take a walk atop the highest point of the Great Wall.

Ride a rickshaw to Beijing's hutongs. Visit  the Temple of Heaven and watch locals practiice Tai Chi, then visit the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square and the mausoleum of Mao Zedong. Fly to X'Ian, one of the oldest cities in China and visit the Han Yang Ling Underground Mausoleum and museum. The Terra Cotta Warriors of 8000 lifelike soldiers, with life-sized horses have been guarding their emperor's tomb for 2000 years. Then fly to Guilin and cruise the Li River. A short flight takes you to ChongQing to board your river boat for the Yangtze River Cruise.

Tour the site of the Three Gorges Dam before disembarking in Yichang for the flight to Shanghai. This wonderful tour ends in Hong Kong with a dim sum lunch.
